I wanted to make a brief announcement to the forum about the EM9304, our next generation Bluetooth V4.2 part. There was a recent press release about it for Electronica:

and I will be at CES in a few weeks with the device. We have a web-page now with a fact sheet:

And you can get the datasheet through your local sales manager. The forum has been active for most of this year with special permission, but we will open it up to all forum users very soon. I just posted in the forum about the excellent RF performance we are getting on the most recent silicon, with measurements that show we have best in class energy consumption and startup-time. We are expecting to qualify by end of Q1'17. Please contact your sales manager to get a DVK to start your developments. All SDK's and tools are now available on the forum for download.
